FUNDRAISING FAQS

Starting a fundraising campaign is easy. Just login to your personal profile page in the top right corner at www.wingsforlifeworldrun.com. Then set your fundraising goal, share your story and ask your friends, family and everyone you know for donations.

Of course, raising funds as a team is amazing. Just create a team, login to your team page, set your fundraising goal, share your story and motivate your team members to raise funds. It’s as simple as that.

Simply click on “teams”, search for the team you’d like to join, and click on “Join this team“.

What a pity that you cannot enjoy the atmosphere on-site but we’re super happy that you’d like to raise funds for spinal cord research. It’s no problem at all. Just click on LOGIN in the top right corner and create an account. Then go on your personal profile page, set a fundraising goal, share your story and ask your friends, family and everyone you know for donations.

Share your fundraising target far and wide. Update your fundraising campaign. Ask your friends and family to sponsor you or join your team. Be creative and have fun. In our fundraising tool section, you find a lot of tips and tools that will help you.

You can do pretty much anything to raise funds, from sitting in a bath of beans (yes, it has been done!) to climbing Everest. Running, though, is an incredibly popular way of raising money. Share your personal goal and get people to pledge an amount per kilometer you stay ahead of the Catcher Car. Or you could run a sweepstake, where people guess how far you’re likely to run. You could approach your employer and ask them to match the amount of money you raise from friends and family, doubling your funds raised. There are hundreds of ways to make your fundraising entertaining and fun or a once-in-a-lifetime challenge – your only limit is your imagination!

Collect the bank transfers and the cash you raised offline. Work out the total, then use your credit/debit card to make the full donation to your Wings for Life World Run fundraising campaign.

100% of all the money you raise on- and offline will go directly to cutting-edge spinal cord research, which focuses on finding a cure for spinal cord injury. Please find more information at www.wingsforlife.com/en/research.
